CHAUFFEUR

A private household professional chauffeur is smart, well-presented, discreet. He may have duties such as: taking the principal to his business appointments in and around London or elsewhere, driving children to and from school.

He may have duties such as: taking the principal to his business appointments in and around London or elsewhere, driving children to and from school, carrying out minor household repairs, running errands, keeping their employers’ cars in good condition and carrying out basic car maintenance. The chauffeur is also asked to help out and run day to day general errands, he has to be flexible with regard to his duties and hours and have a pro-active, helpful attitude. Generally a chauffeur will work 5, 5.5 or 6 days a week, between 40-50 hours per week.

Most professional chauffeurs have extensive experience of caring for luxury and vintage cars. Many chauffeurs may be engaged to take care of the personal security of their employer and his family, alongside driving. They may have advanced driving, chauffeur training, defensive driving and anti-hijack security driving certificates. Salary

£30,000 – £60,000 gross per year, live out, based on skills/experience and the requirement of the role.
